Hi, I'm Mary Ellen Stacy. Welcome to Stacy Kitchen Design. If you've found your way here you may be looking for something "kitchen" related and that means you're in my favorite room of the house. I am an independent kitchen designer and a lover of everything about the kitchen, the cabinetry, countertops and lighting, the textiles, textures and utensils, and a well stocked pantry. I love a highly functioning space that is warm and inviting but what I cherish most is the deep love of family, friendship, and food that nourishes. Simply put, the kitchen is where life happens. All of this in a space whose origins, in our country, were distinct from the main house and considered only a workspace. Thankfully we've come a long way since then.
